Dear Friends,
Tell me . . . has this happened to you? Have you ever attempted to share the challenges of coping with MCS with a fellow Christian only to be asked, "Where is your faith?" I have! "Where is your faith?" They demand to know. Instantly you feel, accused, tried and convicted of having little faith.
Where is your faith? What a question! Some people suggest that if I had more faith, living with MCS would not be a problem. Others suggest that if I had more faith, I would not have MCS at all! Obviously, as far as they are concerned, I am doing something wrong. They are not sure what it is Im doing, but it must be a question of faith. Faith! If only they knew. If it were not for my faith in God, I would have given up long ago. What these well-meaning people fail to realize is that faith is the only reason I continue to stand.
"Therefore put on the full armor of God so that . . . you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand (Ephesians 3:13 NIV).
The Bible teaches that the Christian walk is not often an easy walk. The Psalmist wrote, "A righteous man may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19 NIV).
Jesus, himself, said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33b)." Troubles are going to come, but the Lord will see us through. In His own time, in His own way, He will see us through. He will make a way.
Where is your faith? Im standing on it. . . . I stand. . . . And, having done all, I still stand . . . Like Job . . . I stand . . . Confident. . . . I stand . . . Patient . . . I stand . . . On the Word of God . . . I stand.
"On Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand."
